Florida Hospital Credit Union has received notification of a new phishing scam that utilizes text messages to gain financial information. Text messages are being received which asks potential victims to call 1-323-908-4680 because their card has been restricted. That number goes to an automated system that is requesting/harvesting card numbers and PINs.

If you receive a text message of this nature, please do not respond. Florida Hospital Credit Union will NEVER ask you to verify your personal information by email, through a web link, by text message, or request your full credit card information by phone. If you receive a request of this type, or believe you have responded to a fraudulent attempt, please contact us immediately to report the incident.
